Our Program & Beliefs

“In play, children learn how to learn.”

— O. Fred Donaldson

At Little Lambs Preschool in Canandaigua, we believe that each child is God’s special creation and our job is to love and nurture their unique nature, not fit them into a specific mold.

As a developmental preschool, we believe that children learn best when we allow them to be what they are—kids! We encourage learning through play, combining it with daily activities to help your child develop social skills, reading readiness, math readiness, and physical coordination.

We believe that each child is created by God for a special and unique purpose. Our job is to cherish and develop these special God-given gifts, through a program of Bible stories, children’s literature, art projects, songs, physical movement and more.

At Little Lambs Preschool, we hope to start your child down a path to discover how he or she can make the world a better place.

Our Program

We offer a developmental preschool program for children 3-5. Our classes run weekday morning from 9:00 to 11:30, following the Canandaigua school calendar. We offer flexible enrollment, enabling families to choose a schedule that meets their needs.  We understand that individual attention is key, and aim for 12 children per class.
